Calendar and SMS reminders

You don't have to change your booking system. Color Lab can show appointments from selected booking systems, or you can use its own calendar with SMS reminders. It also works without a calendar at all.

How to do it

1. In the Calendar tab, add an appointment: client, service, time.
2. Set up a recurring appointment in Repeat: every few days, every week or on chosen weekdays.
3. Block out vacation or training as Unavailability, for one person or the whole salon.
4. In the menu, open SMS reminders, choose how many days before the appointment to send the text and write the message.

Good to know

• The calendar is an add-on charged per stylist, from the first: $10 a month with a reminder the day before the appointment (up to 200 SMS), or $15 with texts when an appointment is booked, moved or canceled as well (up to 350 SMS).
• Texts go out every day at 10:00. A message of up to 160 characters counts as one SMS.
• Color Lab has no online booking. The salon enters appointments.
